Speaker 1:

this is kind of like a follow-up question from a few weeks ago. I was asking a question about spiritual evolution and whether we're going backwards when we look at some, um, old civilizations like atlantis and such lemuria. And then you were saying, well, we don't really know their d DNA and they might not have been human, so can we even go there and say that they're on the same path as we are? And then what came up for me was that some people recall lives in those places being a human now. So my question is then can we, even though we don't know what kind of beings there were living there, as a soul, would we be able to enter different types of…?

Speaker 2:

Yes.

Speaker 1:

Yes, okay.

Speaker 2:

We can enter different kinds of bodies. So in the Vedas we know there is a race known as the Asuras, the Rakshas, that have been interbreeding with the human race for thousands and thousands of years. Yeah, that aren't human. And there is a great case for the Daevic beings that we refer to, the angelic beings that have also been breeding into the human race, and there's stories of this throughout all different ancient cultures. What are the origins of my people? In so many traditions they talk about other races, other species coming from different places, and that's certainly the case in the Vedas as well. But to answer your question, are we going backwards? The simple answer is always no. Consciousness is always advancing, the human experience is always advancing, the universe is always advancing. All there is is evolution. What is the one thing that underlies everything all the time? What is consistently happening all the time? Evolution. We are advancing from one state into another, we are advancing from one state into another, and it's riddled with futility trying to understand the chronological experience of humanity based on current versions of history or only looking at it from a linear timeline, because there is so much happening in the evolution of our species. In subtler dimensions of consciousness, there are worlds within worlds, realities within realities within human consciousness. And as we wake up the vertical space in our consciousness, we are waking up to these worlds that are happening simultaneously. There are many narratives that are taking place in our consciousness simultaneously, many lines of narratives, and we've got a very, very superficial understanding of this for most people, you know, there's the personality that everybody sees and experiences in the outside world, that may appear, you know, always happy and jovial and cracking jokes. But then there's the next layer of narrative, which is the personality which is on the inside. That's kind of strategizing to always crack the jokes and make it, you know, appear happy. And then there's another layer that is kind of a little unsure, confused, and, you know, maybe vulnerable and you know, but sweet and kind, but you know, and then sometimes nasty. And then there's a deeper layer that's eternally compassionate, and then another layer that is eternally wise and compassionate.

Speaker 2:

And as we get deeper and deeper, more and more of us is revealed, deeper and deeper, more and more of us is revealed. And in that depth, what is also revealed is the realm in which that aspect of ourselves exists. We are divine in our nature and that divinity is an experience that is had at the depth of ourself. The experience of our divine nature, when awoken, reveals that the soul exists within a divine reality and we can awaken to that divine reality and move about in it while we are simultaneously in this surface layer reality, within this space. Right now, there is this happening and then there are subtler spiritual dimensions that are present, all happening in this space. There are beings sitting around watching us having this conversation, observing, going huh and everything else that they're doing, and then there are subtler layers to that, and then subtler layers and subtler layers and subtler layers, and the subtler it gets, the closer to the source of what we are, reveals itself, becomes apparent till we get to the source of the divine the Godhead, if you like, of which, when we awaken to that, realize, huh, it's all me, into that, realize huh, it's all me.

Speaker 2:

And it's that that is driving everything that's happening through all the layers. That intelligence, that supreme divine intelligence, is driving everything that's happening through all the layers to this reality. And in the surface layers there are some malevolent, cheeky, you know, destruction monsters, operators that love to wreak havoc with this world, but they only go so far, they only go that deep, they don't go all the way. They can't exist in the brightness and the lightness of these deeper, more foundational divine realities. And so we need not worry, because the thing that's operating, truly operating this whole thing, is divine. It's the divinity that is the true chief operating officer. Okay, yeah, and all that's oozing out of that reality is creative intelligence that is driving evolution, and all we need to do is lend our attention to it.

Speaker 2:

This is why we meditate, we turn our attention inward, we allow our senses, our mind, our whole experience to be immersed in this experience of our divinity. We submerge into it, we bathe, we come out, we turn our senses outward and we allow the world to be exposed to that. We allow ourselves to be exposed to the world and in that interaction we learn how to integrate it. And then we go in again, and then we come out, we expose ourselves, we integrate, and then we go in again, in and out, like this, until eventually this and this become stable as one thing. That's what we're after, because when that becomes stable, then we are an open vessel for the divine to acquire the nervous system fully and rise up through us and just blast out of our individual consciousness state. We become the agent of its intelligence.

Speaker 2:

This is what we were designed for, and all we're doing here is reading the user manual, refining our understanding of how the dials and the buttons work. And it's really a very, very elegant design in so much as how do we activate the higher state? We just let go. We allow the attention to effortlessly turn inward, let it all happen naturally, and then we come out. It's very elegant like this we just allow the natural rhythms of nature's intelligence direct us, like this, and eventually we just notice that it's happening.

Speaker 2:

It's just like oh, it becomes apparent that you're having that kind of experience and, as meditators, you're noticing it intermittently. It's there and then it's not. It's there and then it's notently. It's there and then it's not. It's there and then it's not. It's there and then it's not. This is fine. This is all part of the process. This is how it goes. Old habits are hard to break, but they they iron themselves out pretty quick if you're dedicated to. But they iron themselves out pretty quick if you're dedicated to ceasing to ignore what you're experiencing. Because when you cease to ignore what you're actually experiencing, what you notice is that there is a divine reality underlying your experience. It's always there. Sometimes it's a little more difficult to detect with the abrasiveness of pain and the purging of trauma. But that's all fine as well, because at the end of the day, everything is fine, everything is okay.
